Google doesn’t care if your SEO is AI generated
Let's clear up a major myth: Google doesn't care if your content is AI-generated.
They only care if your content helps their bottom line. And how does it do that? By being genuinely helpful to a real person.
This means it must follow the long-standing principles of E-E-A-T (Expertise, Experience, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness). Nothing new here.
The truth is, You aren't Google's primary audience. Your customers are. As a marketer, you're just paying their bills.
Google's priority is to serve its users (your customers) with helpful, accurate, and non-spammy content. If AI can help you do that at scale, Google is perfectly fine with it.
But don't take my word for it. Take a look at Google’s own guidance on AI-generated content:
"Our focus is on the quality of content, rather than how it is produced... Using automation, including AI, to generate content with the primary purpose of manipulating ranking in search results is a violation of our spam policies."
The key phrase is "manipulating ranking." Google doesn’t necessarily penalizing AI, but it will penalize “spam”.
AI-generated content is completely fine if it's factual, readable, and designed to help a user, not just trick an algorithm.
